All Gower Salt Marsh Lamb is fully traceable and are born on the farms where they live and spend most of their lives grazing the salt marsh.
This marsh contains a natural abundance of Samphire, Sorrel, Sea lavender and Thrift (see left) Not only a tremendous source of nourishment but delicious on its own, Samphire is available when in season from the Castle farm shop
'Once it has gone, it has gone'
Following an exceptionally busy time, where we have been inundated with calls and orders, certain cuts of our award winning Lamb are now depleted, so much so that we are now unable to supply Joints of any kind, as we are sold out of them.
We do however, still have a wide range of smaller cuts great for barbecuing such as Cutlets, Burgers plus Minced Lamb. We also have Rump of Lamb available which is a tremendous cut.
